The end

I am going to miss this class a lot, it was my favorite of the semester for sure. I learned a lot about life in this class and that is why I enjoyed it so much. The guest speakers were all so informative in different ways and it helped me understand which direction to go in major wise. I have decided to major in Individual Studies with a Concentration in Nonprofit Development and Administration. I want to use this to help organizations like Greenpeace and help with animal right organizations. I have always been very passionate about animals and am excited about this path. I have grown a lot this semester and realized a lot about myself and I cannot believe that I will be 21 in less than a year time goes by so fast. This semester just flew by I will miss this class a lot and will always have great memories of it. Jessica Swan you are a great teacher and it is obvious how much you love teaching because of how much you try to connect with each of us individually. I will also continue this blog even after this class ends.

  1. Well, Paul, I appreciate these happy thoughts before I drift off to bed. I am following your blog so that I can keep up with the posts and come back with a fresh brain to watch the above videos. What determination you have to continue to write!

Back in the day, I was a Nonprofit Development and Admin minor, and given what little I know about you, I think that you are making an excellent choice. Susan Schmidt rocks as does Laura Harris. Dr. Norris-Terrell (sp) might still be over there. Ask me about the other teachers. The concentration was very practical, and it inspired me to get my MPA at Syracuse. I could totally see you obtaining a graduate degree in environmental policy. In fact, I have some friends who have pursued similar studies and would be happy to connect you to them. It is not too early to begin thinking about grad school. (Enjoy the moment, of course.)

Okay, you didn't ask for any of that information. I can tell you that it has been a treat to learn from you this semester. I imagine that it must have been hard to face a class the second time around and feel motivated to care. You showed that you cared. You gave it your all and then some (particularly on your blog). I am proud of you.

    Jessica
